About East Midlands Urology
East Midlands Urology provides a complete end to end diagnostic, surgical and oncological pathway for patients suffering from Urological conditions including prostate, kidney and bladder conditions.
The clinic was founded by leading specialists, Dr Prantik Das, Consultant Clinical Oncologist, and Mr Sadmeet Singh, Consultant Urological Surgeon. Their shared vision was to ensure patients receive truly personalised care, supported by a dedicated team of experts working together to treat urological conditions with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach.
Sadmeet Singh
Consultant Urological Surgeon
Mr Sadmeet Singh is a Consultant Urological Surgeon. His main focus is diagnosis, surgical treatment and post-operative management of cancers of the prostate, kidney and bladder. He carries out both laparoscopic (keyhole) operations and open surgery.
Prantik Das
Consultant Clinical Oncologist
Dr Prantik Das is a Clinical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of all urological, oesophageal, stomach, neuroendocrine and lung cancers.

Patient threeEarlier this year my husband was diagnosed with locally advanced prostate cancer. When we arrived at the Oncology Department, we initially saw Dr Nagy and Alison the Nurse specialist, both were amazing, putting us at ease straight away.
Shortly afterwards, Dr Das came in to see us . We found him to be very personable, approachable and knowledgeable, which made us feel comfortable. we were both invited to ask any questions, and we never felt awkward or rushed. He’s both patient and understanding and takes takes time and listens to what you say.
We are told that the journey for us has just begun , but in finding Dr Das , we feel most fortunate.
Patient fourWhen my cancer came back I was directed to Oncology and Dr Prantik Das, all the way through my treatment he explained why I had to wait before treatment until my PSA reached a point before treatment could start. I have had a video call this afternoon with Mr Das to discuss the outcome of my radiotherapy treatment (very good). My thanks to him and the oncology department.

Patient sixThroughout all my treatment I’ve found Dr Das and his team to be excellent, he let me ask as many questions as I liked and I never felt rushed. My treatment ended 3 years ago but still get to see him on a 12 monthly basis. The care I’ve received has been excellent and of course I know the NHS is under pressure but from my view everything has worked good for me.
