Mr Sadmeet Singh – Consultant Urological Surgeon
Mr Sadmeet Singh is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in the treatment of prostate, kidney and bladder conditions, including cancers.
Mr Sadmeet Singh is a Consultant Urological Surgeon. His main focus is on the diagnosis, surgical treatment and post-operative management of cancers of the prostate, kidney and bladder. He carries out both laparoscopic (keyhole) operations and open surgery.
In addition Mr. Singh is also a specialist in treating enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia). He offers a range of advanced treatment options to help relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.
Mr Singh can provide remote or in person consultations.
Education
Mr Singh went to medical school in Nottingham and qualified in 1993. He undertook basic surgical training in London and started his urology training there. He went on to undertake a research and clinical fellowship at the Juravinski Cancer Centre in McMaster University, Ontario, Canada.
There he established a laboratory based prostate cancer research project whilst undertaking surgery with the urological cancer surgeons. Mr Singh returned to the United Kingdom to complete his higher surgical training in the East Midlands and was appointed a consultant Urological Surgeon at King’s Mill and The Royal Derby Hospitals in 2010.
Clinical interest
He has a general urology practice with a special interest in urological cancer. He carries out laparoscopic surgery for prostate and renal cancers as well as managing bladder cancers.
