If you are offered the choice of surgery for your Urological condition, your procedure will be provided by Mr Sadmeet Singh at either Nuffield Derby or Royal Derby Hospital.

Mr Sadmeet Singh carries out both laparoscopic (keyhole) operations and open surgery.

Surgical procedures for urological conditions are either carried out in laminar flow theatres or in theatres equipped with robotic surgery systems. Robotic surgery allows a surgeon to carry out minimally invasive procedures with major benefits to the patient of significantly less pain, a shorter hospital stay and faster rehabilitation.

From the surgeon’s point of view it offers greater surgical precision, increased range of motion, improved dexterity and improved access when compared with traditional Laparoscopic (Keyhole) surgery.
